Journal Policies

Open Access Policy

International Journal of Multidciplinary Educational Research (IJMER)  is an open access journal. This open access means that articles in the journal can be freely access, download, share and re-use by all scientists, scholars, teachers, students and other curious minds; which will accelerate research, enrich education and greater global exchange of knowledge. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.

All IJMER articles are published under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0  International License. This license permits unrestricted use, distribution and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.

Peer Review Policy

The practice of peer review is to ensure that only good research is published International Journal of Multidciplinary Educational Research (IJMER)  is committed to prompt evaluation and publication of fully accepted articles and operates a conventional double-blind reviewing policy in which the author name remains anonymous to reviewers and vice versa. Upon submission of an article, all articles undergo a rigorous review process to ensure a thorough and detailed review by experts in the article’s interest area.


All articles are peer reviewed following the procedure outlined below:

  • The author submits an article and it receives an article tracking number which should be referred to in any subsequent communications between the corresponding author and the editor.
  • Article is assessed by journal editor against the scope of the journal and Instructions to Authors to make sure it includes the required sections.
  • The editor decides whether to send the article out for review or not. If the decision is to accept, then it is sent for peer review to assess the scientific quality of the article or if the decision is not to accept, the editor contacts the author with the decision.
  • The reviewer(s) review the article and provide the editor with his/her comments, suggestions and recommendations (reject, revise or accept).
  • Editor checks the reviews and takes the decision whether to accept, reject, or to revise (usually flagged as either major or minor).
  • The editor contacts the author with the decision.
  • If there are revisions the authors makes the necessary changes and re- submit.
  • Once the article is accepted by the editor, it moves into production and is published.
  • Authors of articles that are not accepted are notified promptly and then the authors can choose to transfer their articles to another journal.

Editorial Policy

Editorial Review and Acceptance

International Journal of Multidciplinary Educational Research (IJMER)  is a peer- reviewed, open access international journal. The journal publishes high quality reviews, research articles and Multidisciplinary subject and its allied disciplines.


Articles submitted for publication in IJMER should strictly adhere to the following:

  • Authors are expected to adhere to the highest ethical standards. Any cases of ethical misconduct are treated very seriously.
  • The acceptance criteria for all articles are the quality and originality of the research work and its significance to our readership.
  • Articles should be written in order that it is understandable to the professional reader and it should be clear and concise.
  • Articles are reviewed by experts in the research area. Reviewers, associate editors, and the editor evaluate articles for innovations in, significant contributions to, and noteworthy advances in the theoretical or conceptual basis of the scientific field.
  • The editor reserves the right to modify typescripts to eliminate errors and repetitions and improve communication between author and reader. If extensive alterations are required, the article will be returned to the author for revision.
  • Author(s) must provide an email address as all correspondence, notification and comments regarding article will be through email.
  • Final acceptance of an article is contingent upon compliance with IJMER requirements. Articles other than special invited papers are generally published in the order of receipt of the final, accepted version or of the corrected proof. Final acceptance or rejection rests with the editorial board, who reserves the right to refuse any material for publication.

All articles submitted to the Journal must comply with the above instructions; failure to do so will result in return of the article and possible delay in publication.


Plagiarism Prevention Policy

International Journal of Multidisciplinary Educational Research (IJMER) follows a strong plagiarism policy and is committed to protect the integrity of the scholarly record and feels its duty to help and support the scientific community in all aspects of research and publishing ethics.


IJMER is a participant of Advanced Plagiarism Detection Software (Crossref Similarity Check Powered by iThenticate) to screen published and submitted content for originality.


By submitting articles to Journal the author(s) attest the following:

  • All authors of the article have thoroughly checked and approved the content of the article before submission.
  • No part of the manuscript is plagiarized from other sources.
  • Proper reference is provided wherever contents are extracted from other sources.
  • If plagiarism is found strong action will be taken.
